William McCulloch is a multi-award-winning new science fiction writer who is proud to present Digiverse 107, his first full-length novel.
William was a gifted writer from the earliest age. He authored his first fantasy short story series Fire and Water to the delight of friends before he had even left middle school. He continued his passion in high school where he was twice recognized with awards from the Journalism Education Association of Northern California before he had entered 10th grade.
William’s writing today draws inspiration from some of the world’s leading fiction creators including JK Rowling, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Andrew Clements, and Kelly Yang. “When reading Harry Potter, Front Desk or The Lost World, I became so immersed in these stories that I felt exactly like I was there, fighting evil in a dungeon; running from a bloodthirsty monster, or hanging out with my friends behind the motel front desk after school. I set out to evoke those same feelings for readers who choose to immerse themselves in my Digiverse.”
With Digiverse 107, William pays homage to the ensemble cast creation of JK Rowling; the fast-paced adventure writing of Conan Doyle and the engaging character building of Yang and Clements. He sincerely hopes you enjoy his first novel and offers a message to would-be authors who hope to follow in his footsteps: “Reach for the stars! You can be a miracle. You can tell amazing stories, if you just know where to look. All it takes is something to write on, and a little imagination.”
